Never Forget God’s Faithfulness
This week on the Preview Podcast, Evan and Justin Ryder continue the summer prayer push by asking listeners to pray for small groups at Philadelphia: that God would plant new groups, grow current groups spiritually and numerically, and raise up new leaders. They then preview Joshua 3–4 as Israel crosses the flooded Jordan—two to three million people crossing as priests carry the Ark, step into the water before it parts, and stand in the river until everyone passes, highlighting faith in chaotic moments and godly leadership. Afterward, Joshua gathers twelve stones as a memorial so future generations will remember God’s faithfulness and ask about what He has done. The conversation applies this to today through church attendance, small groups, the Lord’s Supper, tithing, celebration, journaling, and intentional discipleship of children so the next generation doesn’t forget.
