Are you ready? Jesus told the disciples in Mark 16:15, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” Not only was this a command for the disciples, it was for us too! Missions is so important to us because we are to “live sent” by God at all times. So, this should start where we live, and then “to the ends of the earth” like Jesus also said in Acts 1:8.
A Sending Church
Philadelphia wants to be known as a “sending church” that is obedient to the command of God. We want to give our church family multiple opportunities to serve and share the Gospel in our community, in the state of Louisiana, or go on a short-term mission trip in the United States or Internationally.

Our Global Missions Offering enables our church family to minister beyond either campus. Each year your gift is allocated as follows: 60% to Lottie Moon, 15% to Annie Armstrong, 15% to Georgia Barnette, and 10% to Local Missions. Please pray about what god would have you and your family give to help us reach our goal.

Love Out Loud
Love Out Loud is an annual, joint-campus, community missions event where our church loves on our community in a big way. Philadelphia seeks to make a positive impact on our community by showing compassion and the love of Jesus across the region. All ages have an opportunity to put their faith in motion in this community-wide event. Volunteers are asked to serve in many ways such as service projects, feeding the homeless, block parties and much more.

Special thanks to all who participated in our Love Out Loud community missions event on Saturday, October 14, 2023. It was a wonderful success, and the Lord used our efforts for His glory!
LOL 2023 allowed us to reach into central Louisiana and show Christ in action to our neighbors. We celebrate all that God accomplished at each of the THREE Love Out Loud opportunities:
1. Showing God’s Love to Neighborhood Baptist Church in Alexandria

2. Loaf of Bread and Donut Giveaway
Volunteers signed up to work one-hour shifts at Mac's Fresh Market and Donuts, Coffee, and More in Alexandria . Each person received a free food item , a Love Out Loud card, and most importantly, we were able to share Jesus!

3. TIME TO REVIVE - Cenla Evangelism Training
Volunteers were equipped with evangelism training in partnership with Time to Revive Cenla and sent out to Bringhurst Park to put their training into action. Special thanks to our Horseshoe Drive campus and Family of Grace South campus for opening their doors for prayer, worship, and training for this event.
