Children

Follow Jesus. Be the Church.

Kids Loving God, Loving Others, and Showing Others God's Love.

Kingdom Kids is for children ages first through fifth grade. In our children’s ministry, we strive to create a safe and nurturing atmosphere in order to partner with parents to teach children Biblical truths according to their stages of development. We believe these are the first building blocks of a strong, gospel-centered foundation for our children. We teach from the scriptures and help parents proclaim to their kids who God is and help them to Love God, Love Others, and Show Others God’s Love.

FAQs

What age or grade levels are included in the Children’s Ministry?
Our Children’s Ministry serves students in 1st through 5th grade. We group them by grade to provide age-appropriate teaching, worship, and community.
What happens when I arrive for the first time?
We take safety seriously. Every child must be checked in and out using our secure system. Parents receive a unique security tag for pickup. All leaders and volunteers are background checked, trained, and follow strict safety protocols.
What does a typical Sunday look like for my child?
The Gospel Project is a Bible study that helps kids dive deep into the big story of the Bible—God’s plan to rescue His people through His Son, Jesus Christ. Kids will see how the whole Bible points to Jesus and the gospel. This chronological study plan unites the big story and themes of Scripture and helps kids establish a gospel foundation for a lifetime of discipleship. Kids experience small group time where they dive deeper into the Bible lesson through discussion, games, and hands-on activities.
What if my child has special needs?
We’re committed to making every child feel welcome and supported. If your child has any specific needs, let us know at check-in or ahead of time. We’ll do our best to accommodate and support them.
What if my child is nervous or doesn’t want to stay?
That’s totally okay! Our leaders are great at helping kids feel comfortable. You’re welcome to stay nearby or ease in gradually. We’re here to partner with you however you need.
What is your sick policy?
Parents are asked not to bring a child if he/she:
- Has run a fever within the last 24 hours
- Has had diarrhea or has vomited in the last 48 hours
- Has a green or yellow discharge coming from their nose or eyes
- Has an ongoing cough or sore throat
- Is known to have any infectious disease such as HFM, croup, etc.
If there is any question as to the health of your child, we ask that parents err on the side of caution in order to protect the health of other children in our ministries.
Thanks for helping us keep our kids safe and healthy.
How can I stay in the loop or get involved?
We’d love to connect with you! You can speak with the Preschool and Children’s Ministry Director, follow us on social media, and sign up for updates. We’re here to partner with you as you raise your child in faith.
