When school let's out for summer, we start to take up donations for our Back2School Clothes Drive.

Clothes Distribution

Once all donations are in, we begin to distribute the school clothes and supplies to those in need.

August 4-5 |  8:00am - 3:00pm
August 6 | 8:00am - 12:00pm

FAQ's

What is the Back2School Clothes Ministry?
The Back2School Clothes Ministry is a community outreach program that collects new and gently used school uniforms along with various school supplies to help students start the school year with confidence!
Who can receive uniforms/supplies from the distribution?
The program is open to students and families in our Rapides Parish School Board district. 
Can my child come to try on the uniforms?
Absolutely! They are more than welcome to come and try on uniforms to find the appropriate sizing.
What kinds of things can I donate?
Any school supplies
Backpacks
Gently used school uniforms
Shoes
Belts
Undershirts
Socks
Headbands/Bows
Do my donations have to be new?
No, they don't! We accept gently used uniforms and items: however, we ask that the clothes not have any rips.
Can I make a monetary donation instead?
Yes. Financial donations help purchase needed sizes and items that may not be available through donated inventory. Contact Lana Craigo for further information.
