You Can't Stay on the Mountaintop

On this week's episode, we discuss Jesus' Transfiguration on the Mountain with Peter, James, and John. Life is full of valleys and mountains, and even when we want to stay on the mountain, we must leave. The disciples wanted to set up camp on the mountain top, but Jesus knew he had a mission to fulfill and he had to leave the mountain to fulfill it. As small group leaders, we experience mountain top moments in ministry, but we must remember the mission, which is to plant, grow, and cultivate new classes and leaders. One of the hardest things to do as a leader is to move into the cultivating season, but we must do it. We discuss the importance of cultivating and preparing for the planting of a new group.
